Ergonomics (Technical Assistance)
Course Description
Technical Assistance provided by EHS Engineers to observe, analysis, and grade jobs based on Ergonomic-related items, such as bending, lifting, reaching, and handling of tools or assembly of products. A documented report of jobs assessed will be compiled, as well as individual job assessments, to ensure companies are complying with regulatory requirements to provide safe and healthy workplaces for all employees. A major focus of this technical assistance is also directed toward prevention of injuries before they occur.
