Course Description

Designed to assist individuals in becoming familiar with regulations. The Regulations that govern water treatment ADEM Division 7.

The regulations that govern operator certification, ADEM Division 10. This course will cover the history of the Safe Drinking Water Act, what defines the different types of water systems, and the various regulations in the Safe Drinking Water Act. This course will also touch on the effects of various challenges introduced by manufacturing processes.

*Participants will need to bring a laptop to the course in order to reference and explore online content and permit registration and bring their system-permitting information to the course for reference.

The course contains approximately 8 hrs of Water Treatment and 8 hrs of Wastewater Treatment regulatory content.

16 CEH eligible towards 24 CEH required per 3 year certification cycle

Included in the course fee: 1 year of free annual membership to the Society of Water Professionals (SWP), a presentation binder, and a jump drive with digital materials and resources.
