Course Description

This Operator Certification Examination Preparatory Training is designed to give individuals working in industrial (non-municipality) water and wastewater operations practice in answering questions that are similar in format and content to the questions that appear on the state certification exams. The course will be geared to the specific certification that the individual must possess. This course covers Grade I, II, & III depending on individual needs.  

This course is a collaboration between the Alabama Technology Network and the Alabama Rural Water Association to serve industrial water and wastewater processing facilities.

Included in this course: 1 year free annual membership to the Society of Water Professionals (SWP), Volume 1 Wastewater Treatment Textbook, Volume 2 Wastewater Treatment textbook, Small Water Systems Operation & Maintenance textbook, Water Distribution Operation & Maintenance Textbook, presentation binder, 10 practice exams with key, USB-C jump drive with digital materials and resources.

*Participants will need to bring their system permitting information to training for reference.
